Morgan + Seth | Forested Lockridge Wedding

August 27th, 2016 | Lockridge, IA

Morgan and Seth had a perfectly sunny late summer day to celebrate their marriage, reflecting both their love of the outdoors and one another. The two surrounded themselves with a boisterous posse of family and friends that kept the laughter and fun flowing throughout the day. I absolutely loved that Morgan and Seth made all the time in the world for portraits—from a first look and photos before their ceremony to letting me sneak them out before and during their reception, we made the most of our time together and I had so many killer shots to choose from, it made my job that much more rewarding. I always adore when couples take the simplest elements of a wedding and make them their own and this couple did that time and again. Special parts of Morgan and Seth's day included the two of them preparing a secret choreographed first dance to John Legend’s “All of Me” for the first dance, flooring this family and friends, saying personal prepared vows to one another during their first look and planting a tree as a symbol of unity and growth together during their ceremony. But I’ll let the images speak for themselves. Congratulations Mr. + Mrs. Ireland!
