Kelsie and Skylar’s wedding was just one big explosion of beautiful sweetness all day. Surrounded by throngs of family and friends and gorgeous florals that reflected Kelsie’s classic and chic style, the two wed at Burlington's restored First Methodist Church with their reception following at The Loft on Jefferson. One thing that stood out to me and definitely shaped our day was the time and importance the two placed on bridal portraits and as you’ll see below, it totally paid off. I especially appreciated this since we weren’t able to do an engagement session before their wedding, so it definitely made my day that I was able to get to know them even further. They even allowed me to sneak them out of their reception for some sunset portraits which, let me tell you, are worth it every time. I could go on and on about Kelsie’s precious moment’s with her mom, the crazy beautiful cakes and reception decor, the way the bride and groom gave roses to their moms and grandma in the middle of their ceremony and even including relatives that had passed in the decor, but. Let’s let some images do the talking. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Schmeiser!
