Paige and Kenneth's wedding day was a roller coaster of happy tears and laughter--the best kind of ride in my opinion. Equal parts chic elegance and rustic charm, the two wed at the bride's home church in Clinton, Iowa, officiated by her grandfather. The couple didn't want to see each other before their ceremony but were dead set on praying together so they opted for a "first touch", a glorious first for me. Special elements that added feelings on feelings included special gifts given to one another the morning of that made everyone misty-eyed, a "knot tying" during their ceremony--symbolizing the intertwined power and love of God in their lives and marriage and a flood of prayers for each separately by the two's precious bridal party. Their reception was held at Eagle Point Lodge surrounded with lush views of water and forest. Everybody knows that I'm into bridal portraits but let me tell you, I didn't even have to hardly direct Kenny and Paige. They were just stupid in love and that was so obvious from the moment I met them. Here's Kenneth and Paige, enjoy.
Another reason their day was a huge success was the addition of a second shooter to their wedding package which made their first touch, large bridal party portraits and separate preparation time a breeze.
