Dan + Kate are my kind of people. So creative and kind, we gelled from the first moment we met for their engagement and looking back on their wedding fills me with all of the warm and fuzzies. The pair are passionate conservationists. They met on a river clean up crew on a few years ago and each fell hard for the other. Since then, their love for each other, music and this earth has driven their lives together. They told me they were going for a "festival" vibe with their Bass Landing wedding by the river and boy did they nail it, complete with wildflowers, a live R+B band and a pizza food truck. And yeah, I'm always a sucker for tent weddings with boho vibes and eclectic details! Dan and Kate wed on a perfect late summer afternoon and danced the night away under the stars. A special moment for me was taking the newlyweds away for a moment after their tearful ceremony, to the river: a reminder of the place they met, the place they fell in love, the place that still had their hearts.
Congrats, Kate + Dan!
